The show was held in conjunction with the Hamilton Kennel Association show on the 8th March.

The DDB Specialty for 2015 Best in Show winner was The Soulja of Baldur, owned by A McKenzie and handled by Sharon Mischefski and Reserve in Show was Jerivindi Iroc owned and Handled by D Graham.

Photos and official placings will be put up in the next day or so as their are a few pictures to go through.

Well well well it seems all the washing and glitzing of the Mastiff has paid off with Goober, owned by Jane Lee-Cooper , winning the 2015 Battle of the Mastiff's Match with Cinnamon the brindle Bullmastiff , owned by Sharon Mischefski, took reserve well done ladies.

Big thanks to our judge for the events Roslyn Sears our judge for the Champ show & Mr Paul O'Grady for judging our Battle of the Mastiffs,as well as to our wonderful committee members for all their hard work, and naturally our exhibitors for making the day a great success again this year.

Well we have finally had the breeds very first Championship Show in New Zealand, and or though we would have liked more entries our Judge on the day, Mr Chris Quantrill, said we had some lovely looking specimens of the breed in our country compared to other countries he had judged in which was nice to hear for the breeds future here.

We would like to express a huge thanks to... Chris Quantrill our judge for all our events, Ellie for driving him to our event, Louise Burgess our Manager & secretary for the day, and the absolutely fabulous Trish Tribble for taking all the entries and being our awesome Steward for the entire days events and for making the day run extremely smoothly because of it.

We also wish to thank Bryan our video person, Victoria from Stellanova photgrahy our photographer for the day and we have to mention our wonderful little junior committee meber & helper for the day Mia for taking all the food out to everyone and just always being there to lend a hand when needed .

The we went into the Battle of the Mastiff's match where 24 dogs competed to take the title of Best of parade for there breed for the day and the Bullmastiff representative Chad owned by Vicki Mills took the title but was closely followed by Rocky the English mastiff owned by Leigh so congratulations to both of the Mastiffs who were triumpant but don't get to comfortable because im sure if we do it all again in a year or so things will be different lol
